Confocal Microscopy

The Leica SP5 confocal inverted microscope includes a motorized stage for tiling and capture of multiple data points during one time-lapse experiment. The instrument is equipped with FRET and FRAP software and ISS fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) hardware that includes two avalanche photodiode detectors (APDs) and a dedicated computer with ISS Vista FCS acquisition and analysis software.
